The 14th Annual Inland Northwest Philosophy Conference will be held in Boise, Idaho and will focus on on such Aristotelian themes as substance and attribute, matter and form, in re universals, ontological dependence, ways of being, and teleology, as they figure in contemporary metaphysical discussions. The conference kicks off at 7pm April 15 with a lecture for the general public by Dr. Kit Fine entitled “Mathematics: Invented or Discovered”. The academic portion of the conference runs April 16-18 on the campus of Boise State University, with Dr. Fine delivering the keynote address on the evening of Sunday, April 17.
